We opened on April 1, 1980 at the present location and are still under the same ownership.

We are open 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Hours are 9 to 9 pm..

Christmas Shipping:

Before Dec. 16, ground shipping is OK. After Dec. 16, pick an expedited shipping option.

Payment:
	We accept Visa and Mastercharge credit and debit cards only. You can pay with money order. If you pay by money order make the check out to Sausalito Ferry Co and send it to Sausalito Ferry Co, 688 Bridgeway, Sausalito, CA 94965. We no longer accept personal checks. Credit card processing for purchases on sausalitoferry.com is done off site by Bank of America. We do not have access to your credit card number. We suggest that you order from the site for this reason. We will be happy to take your order by phone, if you wish. We destroy credit card numbers from the phone orders. They are not saved.
To Order by Phone:
	Dial 415 332 9590 between 9 to 9 pm, Pacific Standard Time 7 days a week.
To Order by Fax:
	You can fax your order to 415 332 0897. Please include the credit card number, 3 digit security code from the back of the card and the billing address of the credit card if the shipping address is different from the billing address.
Shipping USA and Worldwide:
	We ship within the USA and worldwide by the US Postal Service or UPS. You will be able to select your delivery options on the shipping page as you check out. We usually ship within 24 hours of ordering. Shipping by US Postal Service can be cheaper and faster but does not give detailed tracking information. UPS costs more, but provides detailed tracking information. Our experience with both shipping services is about one lost package in 2000 orders we ship. We charge our true cost of shipping. We add no service charges or fees to shipping charges.
Gift Certificates:
	Contact us if you need a gift certificate.
Sales Tax:
	All shipments outside California are not charged sales tax. If we ship within California the sales tax rate is 9.00 %. Shipping within Marin County the sales tax rate is 9.00 %. Merchandise is taxed, not the freight.
